How to choose a configuration
CardScan Team can be purchased in almost any configuration. To help you decide what’s best for your business, think about these things:
- Anyone that needs access to contact information needs a CardScan Team software license.
- Scanners can be shared so it’s not necessary to buy a scanner for each person (though it may be more convenient).
- Buy scanners for those that you think will do the most scanning. You may just want one for an administrator or you may want one for each person in the office if everyone’s going to be collecting cards.
- You can always purchase additional software licenses and scanners from us so don’t worry too much about buying the perfect configuration. Just choose what you think is best.

*CardScan Team comes with the CardScan Executive scanner but you can purchase additional CardScan Personal scanners if you prefer that scanner. These scanners come without any software, so you must buy or own CardScan Team software to use them. We are currently running a promotion where you will receive a free CardScan Personal v7 scanner when you purchase the standard CardScan Team package (normally one scanner and software for 2 users)
What’s the difference in the scanners? Basically, the Executive scanner is color, a second or so faster per card and USB 2.0 certified. The Personal scanner is black-and-white, slower and USB-1.1 certified. Though it is more compact and has a closing scanner door. Both are equally accurate, reliable, include a 2-year warranty and USB powered.
